Interclass Games Day 3 - Captain's Ball

Into our third and final day of the competition. The atmosphere was electrifying!!

4 courts, 4 balls, 4 concurrent games of Captain's Ball, 40 players, and many more students and teachers cheering by the side. Passing, jumping, catching, attacking, defending and moving into spaces. These are the wonderful moments of the games. There are victories and defeats; joys and tears.

At the end of the day, friendship and supports are fostered amongst everyone. Please remember that the victory is sweeter and the defeat is less painful when you are surrounded by friends who are competing with you and celebrating with you and feeling for you!!!!

Interclass Games Day 2 - Basketball & Soccer

The cheering get louder as we are are overwhelmed by your enthusiasm.

Pass, dribble, bounce pass, chest pass, overhead pass, triple threat. Basketball is such a fabulous games with a fast transition of offense and defense movements.

Goal... Goal... & more Goals.. Soccer is such a beautiful game with trickery dribbles and wonderful goals scored by the players.

Good job boys and girls!!! We are truly impressed by your passion and determination..

Interclass Games Day 1 - Frisbee

This is the day we have been waiting for - The 2013 P6 Interclass Games !!!

The competition started with Frisbee. 4 Badminton courts, 7-aside, 10 players from each team, roll in substitutions followed by blocks, catches, running into spaces, and a display of tremendous team spirit !!!

The players on the courts were clearly motivated by their cheering classmates as they strive to retrieve the frisbee and aimed to score as many points as possible.

Please think about these two questions:

1) Who am I marking when i lose the frisbee?

2) Where can I run to create space for my teammate to pass to me when we are attacking?

We have also talked about the three Olympic Values of Friendship, Respect & Excellence.

Always remember that when you share your victories, defeat, pain, tears and celebrations with your friends, your life in sport is going to be more memorable, happy and successful.
